On Sunday, November 6th, the Fine Arts Foundation held its annual Debutante Fashion Show at the Denver Athletic Club. While over 300 guests dined on a Spinach and Brussels Sprout Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast, our 2017 Debutantes strutted confidently down the runway in fashions provided by Soignee Elegant Attire and Pink’s. The Tiara Mistresses adorably modeled outfits provided by Heloise. The young ladies received raucous applause and appreciative encouragement from the admirers in the crowd which included parents, friends, potential Debutantes and many members of the Fine Arts Foundation Board of Directors.
Janet Granger welcomed the crowd and Jenny Simpson, a 2010 Debutante, acted as the Master of Ceremonies. Each young lady was presented in a casual, trendy outfit followed by either a party dress or an elegant gown. The Debutantes were stunning and the crowd was visibly awed.
The 2017 Debutantes are an accomplished group of ladies from 11 area high schools. Included in the class are National Honor Society members, a Most National Charity League Philanthropy Hours recipient, a Student Athlete of the Year, several Loyola Award for Outstanding Leadership honorees, an accomplished thespian, a member of the Mandarin Chinese Honor Society, a state and nationally ranked equestrian, a candidate for an International Baccalaureate Diploma, and recipients of many other academic and philanthropic awards.
We are so very proud and honored to present these beautiful, accomplished, dynamic, passionate and caring young ladies as Fine Arts Foundation Debutantes.
The Debutante Ball will be held on the grounds of the University of Denver on the evening of Saturday, June 17, 2017.
